Creating the Login Page

Heads up! Login With Ajax is no longer necessary is you’re using Grimlock Login!

Grimlock Login has been added during the recent months to fix various issues that theme users were facing with Login With AJAX. It’s reshaping every WordPress login forms using the theme options that you’ve set in your theme. You can still keep Login With AJAX activated but it’s clearly not necessary anymore once you’ve installed our plugin.

Before installing, please also make sure that your theme and all plugins are up-to-date. No settings are required to make Grimlock Login work, you just need to hit Activate.

Install Login With AJAX

Please make sure you have Login With Ajax installed and activated before creating your Login page. If you haven’t already done so, you still can install this plugin before proceeding to the following steps.

Create a New Page

To create your Login page, visit Pages > Add New. Give your new page a title, just place the following shortcode into your content:

[login-with-ajax template="divs-only"]

Your theme offers an option to change the look and feel of the Login page. You can select the Minimal Template in the Page Attributes panel box.

Finally, please make sure you click the Publish button.

Add the Login Page to Your Menus

Once your page is created, you might be interested in adding it to your logged out user menu. To learn more about this menu and how to set it, please read the following post:
