Customizing the Shop Page

Heads up! Make sure Grimlock for WooCommerce is installed first!

Please make sure you have WooCommerce and Grimlock for WooCommerce installed and activated before customizing the WooCommerce pages. If you haven’t already done so, you still can install this plugin before proceeding to the following steps.
Download Grimlock for WooCommerce

The posts page of your website can be modified through the Customizer. To display all available customization options, please navigate to Appearance > Customize.

Customizing the Shop Page General Options

To customize the general options for the posts page, go to Appearance > Customize > Products > Shop Page > General.

  • Title –┬áThe title for the shop page. Please note that to change the header title for the shop page, you must edit the page title in the administration panel of WordPress.
  • Subtitle –┬áThe subtitle for the shop page. Please note that to change the header subtitle for the shop page, you must edit the page excerpt in the administration panel of WordPress.

Customizing the Shop Page Layout

To customize the layout options for the shop page, go to Appearance > Customize > Products > Shop Page > Layout.

  • Header Layout –┬áThe layout of the header for the shop page.
  • Header Spread –┬áThe spread of the header for the shop page.
  • Sidebars – The layout of the sidebars for the shop page.┬áEnable the┬áDisplay sidebar on mobile pages┬ácheckbox to display the sidebars when┬áthe shop page┬áis displayed on a mobile device.
  • Spread –┬áThe spread of the content for the shop page.

Customizing the Shop Page Style

To customize the style options for the posts page, go to Appearance > Customize > Products > Shop Page > Style.

  • Header Image –┬áThe image displayed in the background of the header for the shop page. Please note that to change the header image for the shop page, you must edit the page featured image in the administration panel of WordPress.
  • Header Padding –┬áThe vertical padding of the header for the shop page, conditioning its size. Please note that the padding settings will only affect the header when displayed. You might need to review the general options for the header before customizing its padding for the shop page.
  • Content Padding –┬áThe vertical padding of the content for the shop page, conditioning its size.
